Shipping

Yes. It is possible.

There is a possibility that  the expected arrival date + 3 days.

The foreign money will be shipped on the same day ¥, if:

Cash on delivery = finishing payment before 3:00 pm,
Bank transfer = finishing transfer and confirmation before 3:00pm

If the payment is finished after 3:00pm, the foreign money will be shipped on the next working day. It takes about 1 to 3 days for delivery.

How long does it need for delivery?

If you put down a big post office near your place as a delivery address, you can pick the foreign currency you ordered up there, which cuts the time for them to deliver it to you. Also you do not need to worry about being at your mailing address, waiting for them to deliver it.

 

With the tracking number that indicated in the notification email we send to you, you could trace your parcel and take it once it arrived the post office you selected.

 

*There would be no arrival notification sending from post office, so it is necessary for you to keep an eye on the parcel status.

*Parcel picking is only available during the offices’ business hour. Therefore it is better to make sure it is opened when you go.

 

Besides, express delivery might also be available, please call 03-6804-6945 for it.

 

We could deliver the foreign currency within 1~3 days to different part of Japan.

“Estimate the delivery time from postal code”

For purchase (Japanese -> Foreign currency), you look for it on Japanese Post Office homepage.

 

Steps:

  1. On the homepage, please insert 150-0001 in the Sender field.

  2. Insert your mailing address’s postal code in the Consignee field.

  3. Click the Search button, then it will show you the approximate delivery time for the package to reach your location.

Postman will leave a absence communication slip, please use it to arrange the next delivery for your foreign currency.

If you cannot receive the slip please contact the nearest post office with the tracking code.

For Cash on Delivery

Every Working day - orders before 3 p.m. → same-day shipping

Within 1-2 days arrival after sent

 

For Bank Transfer

Every Working day - transferral confirmation before 3 p.m → same-day shipping

The foreign currency your ordered will be sent by post office’s registered mail.

For cases of cash on delivery, please be reminded to use cash in exchange of parcel.

Credit cards are not applicable.

Specification of delivery day and time is not applicable for registered mail.

Rate

It is a special bargain based on different amount of foreign money to be exchanged.

With these plan, you would get a more favourable rate than you do it at other shops, airport or bank etc.

In normal cases a foreign currency exchange order details notification email would be sent immediately once you applied.

There might be possible that your mailbox has blocked our email address or our email has been moved to spam box.

Yet please be informed that our hotline service is only available during working day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..

Yes payment method for the foreign currency exchange order could be changed before delivery. Processing fee would not be charged for the change.

 

However, there might be changes on delivery fee.

Since foreign currency rate moves dynamically all the time, cancellation of order applied is not accepted.

Purchase Foreign Currency

The rate would be based on the real time rate you have completed the foreign currency exchange order placement.

For customers who choose bank transfer, there is a chance that the rate would be changed.

If the transferral is later than the payment date stated on order details email, the exchange rate would be updated, which may result in a possible new amount of the payment.

 

The rate of each foreign currency exchange order would only be changed for once.

If the order is still remain unpaid until the next rate update, please note that the order will be cancelled.

 

Please refer to the graph below for reference, foreign currency rate might usually change before or after 11 a.m. as indicated.

*for cases of Cash on Delivery, the exchange rate cannot be changed.

 

*1: The time is based on time of payment transferral confirmation. If the transferral cannot be confirmed before 11 a.m., the rate might possibly change.

*2: If the transferral cannot be confirmed before 3 p.m., parcel will be sent out on the next working day.

*3: For orders during Friday, Saturday or Sunday, the rate would be hold until next working day.

It might not be possible to use the banknotes outside of the issuing countries.

We do not obtain thorough information of those locations, please make sure if it is workable based on your situation.

When we receive a request for banknotes from you,

However, for banknotes in the Asian regions, wrinkles and dirt often stand out,
We may not be able to secure the number of clean banknotes.

We have made sure that the 1000HKD banknotes we provide are authentic.

We use the evening flight service by post office.

You could trace the parcel with the tracking number once it is posted.

For the foreign currency exchange orders with cash on delivery, delivery fee would be ¥700, while bank transfer is ¥400. For the orders over ¥100,000 with bank transfer, delivery fee is free.

Yet, the processing fee for bank transfer would be beared by customers.

Yes.

For foreign currency buying, it is recommended to do it by cash on delivery.

For foreign currency selling, you could use the cash registered mail service provided by Japanese Post Office.

Because we purchase foreign money directly from overseas, we are not able to provide brand new banknotes from bank.

However depending on the stock availability, banknotes with good condition as new banknotes could be provided.

Buying multiple currencies

There are no limitation on the amount of purchase.

Yet for foreign currency exchange orders over ¥2,000,000, license, passport and identity verification certificate are needed.

 

For foreign currency exchange orders over ¥1,000,000, please note that only bank transfer with special payment date is accepted.

About orders over ¥1,000,000

Customers will bear the processing fee of bank transfer if any.

Postman will deliver the foreign money at door of your mailing address.

Please pay the total amount of your foreign currency exchange with included delivery fee by cash.

Once you have placed your foreign currency exchange order, please finish the payment by next working day 11 a.m.

The rate might be changed for late payment.

If the order remains unpaid until the second update of the currency rate, the order will be cancelled.

Selling Foreign Currency

If you can not make the time to go to post office within 2 days after your foreign curremcy exchange order placed.

You-Pack service is recommended.

 

You could use the service at the below convenience stores:

Please stick the You-Pack label on your parcel and post.

 

The compensation amount for You-Pack is up to ¥300,000. If you have any concerns, it is recommended to use normal registered mail.

The exchange rate would be based on the real-time rate you have completed the foreign currency exchange order placement, which the 2-days postmark.

However if the parcel remains unposted for 3 days or above, change of currency rate is possible.

There is no limitation on the amount of selling foreign currencies.

Yet only banknotes are accepted.

 

For the orders over ¥2,000,000, license, passport and identity verification certificate are needed.

The trade rate is based on the real-time rate of your foreign currency exchange order placed. This rate will stay valid within 2 days postmarked.

Which means if the your money has not been posted after 2 days, there is a chance that the currency rate would change.

Please be reminded to post your parcel within 2 days after your order has been placed.

Yes we would accept 100CNY, 50CNY, 20CNY, 10CNY, 5CNY and 1CNY banknotes.

 

However, we cannot exchange bills which are smaller amount than 1CNY.

We will either send you back (additional 500yen for delivery fee) or donate to NPOs if you send us these banknotes below 1CNY.

The trade rate is based on the real-time rate of your order placed. This rate will stay valid within 2 days postmarked.

If your parcel is posted from the third day, we will count the exchange rate the time when we received the your parcel as the applicable rate.

 

Please make sure you have stated the order number on the parcel before you post.

 

If we cannot find order number on the parcel, we will also count the rate when we received the your parcel as the applicable exchange rate.

In this case please contact our staff immediately.

Please understand that there might be delay of processing time in this occasion.

Change of foreign currency exchange order amount might be possible if you have contacted us in advance.

Yes you can.

Yet for the large bills, please state the bill numbers and show your identity verification document before you order.

 

Besides, for 10,000SGD banknotes selling, 2% of handling fee will be charged on top of the real-time indicated exchange rate. Please kindly call us at 03-6804-6945.

As we exchange directly in foreign money, we only accept cash as a means of payment.

Once we have received your money, we will send an arrival notification email to you.

Banking in will be processed on the next working day after the email sent.

 

Yet the transferral time needed for foreign currency depends on different banks.

Details will be sent to you once we have banked in.

Cash registered mail will need ¥550 delivery fee while bank transfer will need ¥250 processing fee. However, for transferral over ¥100,000, processing fee would be waived.

 

And as for time, in case of bank transfer, normally we could make the foreign money transferral on the next working day after we received you money. Yet, it would time 1~3 days if we post.

 

Of course for the customers who have no Japanese bank account, registered mail is recommended.

We can only exchange distributed bills.

 

Please be aware that if customer's bill were greatly damaged or has stains, we may not

accept your banknotes to exchange foreign currency.

In regard to Chinese Yuan, we cannot exchange any banknotes which are smaller

amount than 1CNY.

*If there were some bills which we cannot exchange, we will either send you back (additional 500yen for delivery fee) or donate to NPOs. The longest time we can keep your non-exchangeable bills are 6 months. Please be aware that if we didn't get any replies from you for 6months, we will donate to NPOs.

For bank account numbers, normally there are 7 digits.

In case of 2 ~ 6 digits account number, please make sure that it is valid when you insert.

 

And for branch name and account name please type it in 「カタカナ」

Both have delivery status that you could trace.

Yet the status details and compensation amount are different:

 

General registered mail (from ¥430)

The whole delivery will be tracked from point to point when you dropped off your package at the post office and all the local post office it went through.

The normal limit of compensation amount is ¥100,000. Yet for every ¥21 you pay in addition, ¥50,000 of compensation quota will be increased. The maximum compensation amount is ¥5,000,000.

 

Simple registered mail (from ¥310)

It only shows the time of when you dropped off your package and when it got delivered to your place.

The compensation amount is 50,000yen, but you can send it cheaper than general registered mail.

 

*The delivery fee depends on the weight of your package, so the shown price above is the minimum amount of delivery fee.

*These are hand delivered, so if our office is closed when it was delivered, your package will be securely stored at the post office.

Yes it is possible for any banks in Japan

You are welcome to sell your foreign currencies to us.

Please kindly note that we do not accept coins, we can only buy paper bills.

There is no handling fee for exchanging foreign money.

We do not accept any cancellations as we process the foreign currency exchange order soon after it is placed.

If you need to cancel your order, 5% of the ordered amount will be charged as cancellation handling fee.

To exchange foreign money at shop, please call and make the reservation as least one working day before. We only accept visit on working days.

Useful terms

It is a number that indicates your order. After you place your foreign currency exchange order, you will get an automated email to confirm your order. You need this number when you sell us your foreign currency. When you send us your foreign currency, please write down this number.

It is a number that you can use to see the location of your mail when it is in the postal system and see the status. After we send out the order from the post office, we will send you an email with tracking number, so you can check it from our email.

You can get the foreign currency at the post office you requested. You can pick it up whenever as long as the post office that you are picking up is open. You do not have to worry about the delivery time.

*The customer has to pick it up by him/herself with the ID, or if others are picking up, they have to have an official letter that authorizes them to pick up the package.

Please be aware that you will not be informed if the package got to the post office, so please check by yourself with tracking number we send you by email.

 

If you want us to send it to the post office you desire, please put the name of the city and the post office.

It is a special type of mail for sending cash, and it has a tracking number.

Foreign currency does not count as cash, therefore simple registered mail is recommended.

 

We use this special mail when the customer wishes to exchange from foreign currency to Japanese yen and requesting to receive the cash by post.

After we send out the cash to the customer, we send an email to inform them about the tracking number, so they can check the status.

It is a market price between two countries when they exchange their currencies. It fluctuates all the time depending on the world economy.

Our rates are shown in Japanese yen for each one unit of foreign currency.

With this method of payment and delivery, when the post officer delivers to your mailing address, you only need to pay by cash on the spot.

You do not need to deposit your money, which is recommended for the customers who have no Japanese bank account or those who use our foreign currency exchange service for the first time.

This is one of the delivery types in post office.

It will record the time we send the orders out, and you can check the status of your order by using the tracking number on the postal service website. Also this requires hand delivery, so it is safe.

If you were not at your mailing address when they deliver, you can request for redelivery with the slip they leave, or pick it up yourself at the post office. When you pick the package up at the post office, please bring your ID with you.

Any change of your foreign currency exchange order placed cannot be done on our website, please call or email us if it is needed.

Any request or order details, say requiring small bills or stating account name, please indicate in the Remarks field when you order to exchange foreign money.

It is a number that you can use to see the location of your mail when it is in the postal system and see the status. After we send out the order from the post office, we will send you an email with tracking number, so you can check it from our email.

Yes, you can order foreign currency exchange from overseas. However, the mailing address has to be within Japan.

There are places that accept credit card.

However, it would be very inconvenient if you do not have local currency for some small shopping or traffic.

Yes of course you can.

We suggest that you to prepare foreign currency in advance to save on time and effort.

There are many types of credit cards, but you generally need to pay an "Overseas Usage Fee" when using these cards, so we believe it is better to exchange currencies and carry cash beforehand.

The exact savings will vary according to the specific bank or service. However, we believe that our business model which involves an online service and requires much less overhead expenses for locations and personnel allow us to offer fantastic rates to customers.

As we exchange directly in foreign money, we only accept cash as a means of payment.
